Freddy's Frozen Custard & Steakburgers Opens In Romeoville Wednesday
The Kansas-based fast casual restaurant announced that it will open its newest location on South Weber Road, adding to its Illinois roster.

ROMEOVILLE, IL — A new fast casual restaurant known for its burgers and frozen custard will open its doors to the public when it launches a new Romeoville location on Wednesday, the village announced.
Freddy’s Frozen Custard & Steakburgers will soon open for business at its newest location at 460 S. Weber Road in Romeoville.
Village officials announced that Freddy’s, which has locations across the country, and first opened in Wichita, Kansas, will join the restaurant’s roster of Illinois stores in September.

In a social media post, Freddy’s wrote that the Romeoville location will open at 10:30 a.m. Wednesday.
Freddy’s also has Illinois locations in Orland Park, Frankfort, Homewood and Glendale Heights.

“Making Freddy’s an accessible dining option for guests in the Chicago area continues to be a priority,” Eric Cole, the Romeoville franchise owner, said in a news release issued by Freddy's on Tuesday. “We’re frequently getting inquiries from those who want to see a Freddy’s nearby, driving us to work hard on our development plans for additional locations.”
The 3,112 square-foot, freestanding restaurant seats 106 guests, has additional seating on the patio and drive-thru service. Mobile ordering through the Freddy’s app and website is also available. Hours of operation are 10:30 a.m. to 10 p.m. Sunday through Thursday and 10:30 a.m. to 11 p.m. Friday and Saturday.
“At Freddy’s, we provide high quality, cooked-to-order menu items in a fun and comfortable environment,” Cole said. “When you walk in, you can expect a warm greeting, and you’ll experience genuine hospitality we call the ‘Freddy’s Way.’”
