Grammy-Winning Trio The Band Perry Headlines Romeoville Concert Series
The sibling trio has sold 2.5 million albums and will perform at the Deer Park amphitheater in a summer that also includes concerts, movies.

ROMEOVILLE, IL — A Grammy-award-winning trio of siblings is headlining a summer full of entertainment in Romeoville, which will host The Band Perry in August at Deer Crossing Park in August.
The Band Perry, which has sold 2.5 million albums, will perform at the Toyota Amphitheater at 8:30 p.m. on Aug. 27. The Band Perry has a combined 2 million combined streams of their songs and hit the mainstream in 2010 with their ground-breaking crossover No. 1 single “If I Die Young”.
The band has forged its unique identity and built an international fanbase and has performed to sold-out crowds on world tours, has placed five No. 1 singles on the Billboard Country chart, a No. 1 hit on the Hot AC chart, and has had six songs reach gold or platinum status.

The group won its first Grammy Award in 2015.
The Band Perry has performed on “The Tonight Show Starring Jimmy Fallon”, “Jimmy Kimmel Live”, “The Late Late Show With James Corden”, “The Late Show with David Letterman” as well as “Ellen”, “Good Morning America” and “The Today Show”.

“We are thrilled to be able to bring a big-name band like The Band Perry to Romeoville,'' Mayor John Noak said in a news release. “Our summer concerts bring the entire community together and this concert is going to be the perfect summer send-off.”
Tickets for the concert will be available for purchase online, at noon on June 8 to Romeoville residents and to the general public, at noon on June 15. Pricing for tickets will range from $10 to $30 and all areas will be general admission.
Other outdoor concerts will be featured from 7-9 p.m. on Thursdays beginning on June 2 with a performance by Strung Out, which is being billed as Chicago’s ultimate 70s musical experience. Other summer concerts at Deer Crossings Park include Back Country Roads (June 9), Fool House (90s dance party, June 16), and other musical acts that will perform through the end of July.
The Village of Romeoville is also offering a series of movie nights in the park beginning on June 13. Movies this summer include Moana (June 13), Jurassic World (July 11), and Lilo & Stitch, which will be shown as part of a drive-in movie night on Aug. 19 at 680 Townhall Drive.
