Hatch Chicken Restaurant Concept Coming to Romeoville’s Rebel Store

Serving chicken sandwiches and tenders as well as sides like biscuits, mac and cheese, and waffle fries.

Hatch Chicken, a quick service restaurant concept, will be coming to the Rebel Convenience Store located at the northwest corner of Normantown Road and Weber Road. The main menu items will consist of chicken sandwiches and tenders, but will also include sides like biscuits, mac and cheese, and waffle fries. In terms of beverages, customers can expect organic teas and lemonade. Visitors will be able to place an order in person or order online in advance and swing by for a quick pickup.

“Hatch Chicken is a very new concept, originally debuting last September,” said Mayor Noak. “It’s great that Romeoville is being included in the initial wave of buildouts and we look forward to welcoming them to the village.”

Hatch Chicken will occupy the space the Dunkin’ used to be in and will be building a drive-thru window at the location. Construction on the restaurant should begin in June with a targeted opening in September.
