Heat Wave: Romeoville Cooling Centers Open
Romeoville will be under a heat advisory, which is in effect from 10 a.m. Saturday to midnight Monday night.โ
ROMEOVILLE, IL โ The "most uncomfortable air of the season so far" is on the way to the Chicago area, as heat index values over 100 degrees and "oppressively hot and humid" weather are expected starting on Saturday.
"Saturday through Monday look like the worst at this point, though hot temperatures may continue thereafter," the weather service said on its Facebook page.
Romeoville is under a heat advisory, which is in effect from 10 a.m. Saturday to midnight Monday night.

With the incoming heat wave, the Village of Romeoville is reminding residents about available cooling centers in Romeoville. The Recreation Center, 900 W. Romeo Road, is open as a cooling center from 9 a.m. to 9 p.m. Monday through Friday, and 9 a.m. to 5 p.m. on Saturday and Sunday.
