Heritage Falls Water Park Opens May 31

The aquatic facility, which is in Romeoville, opens for the summer on May 31.

ROMEOVILLE, IL — Warmer temperatures are coming as June approaches, and the Lockport Township Park District is ready as the Heritage Falls Water Park opens on May 31.

The facility, at 101 Troxel Ave., in Romeoville, has a splash pad, pool with deep-end, two diving boards and two water slides. According to the park district, open swim is from 11 a.m. to 1 p.m. Monday through Friday (for pool pass holders only) and 1 to 6 p.m. for the public.

Hours on the weekends are 11 a.m. to noon for pass holders, and noon to 5 p.m. for the public.

It is $9 for park district residents and $14 for nonresidents.

The park district said the pool will be open on weekends only starting Aug. 9. Heritage Falls offers special events and a dive-in movie throughout the summer.

The park district offers a summer pool pass for Chaney Pool and Heritage Falls Water Park, as well as pool rentals and summer swim lessons.
