Lake Strini To Be Closed To Fishing, Re-Stocked With Trout

Lake Strini will be closed to fishing from Tuesday, October 15 until 5:00 a.m. on Saturday, October 19. The lake is being stocked with trout in cooperation with the Illinois Department of Natural Resources. Re-stocking will take place sometime during the day. No exact time has been given. We will let the trout acclimate themselves to to the lake.

Trout Season officially begins on Saturday, October 19th. All fishing licenses and trout stamps must be present and current. Fishing at Lake Strini can begin Saturday morning at 5:00 am.
