Man Charged In Connection With Filming Man In Romeoville Biz Restroom

ROMEOVILLE, IL — A Chicago man has been charged with filming another person in the bathroom of a Romeoville restaurant, according to a criminal complaint filed in Will County.

Yovani Bentura-Jimenez, 21, was charged with a felony count of unauthorized video recording and was booked into the Will County Jail on Dec. 21.

The criminal complaint said that Bentura-Jimenez was arrested after the filming incident, which took place in the 1000 block of West Crossroads Boulevard, and alleged that the man “knowingly made a video record” of another man without his consent.

A Will County judge set bail for Bentura-Jimenez at $10,000 and ordered him not to have any contact with the complainant in the case.
