New Will County Board Member Sworn In
Margaret Tyson replaces Don Moran of Romeoville, who retired earlier this year.

JOLIET, IL — At Thursday's Will County Board Meeting, members approved the appointment of Margaret Tyson to the board's vacant position in District 3. The appointment comes after the previous representative of District 3, Don Moran of Romeoville, retired from his position on the Board earlier this year.
Tyson was selected by the Will County Democratic Central Committee to serve the remainder of Moran’s term, as the party of the departing board member gets to select the replacement. Central Committee Chair Bill Thoman nominated Tyson for approval by the Will County Board.
