Obstruction, Failure To Secure A Child: Romeoville Arrests

Ernesto Diaz, 28, of the 200 block of McKool, was arrested at 12:02 a.m. July 8 in the 400 block of North Independence on a charge of disorderly conduct.

David Rodriguez-Alonzo, 33, of the 300 block of McKool, was arrested at 12:02 a.m. July 8 in the 400 block of North Independence on charges of possession of a controlled substance, resisting an officer and disorderly conduct.

Joseph Stelzik, 19, of the 700 block of North Sunrise, was arrested at 10:39 p.m. July 9 in the area of Grassy Knoll and Brookstone on charges of obstructing an officer, illegal use of a cellphone and not having a driver's license on him.

Anita Vazquez, 31, of the 300 block of Woodcreek Drive, Bolingbrook, was arrested at 8:43 p.m. July 13 in the 1000 block of Romeo Road on a charge of violating an order of protection.

Ryan Taylor, 41, of the 28000 block of Nancy Court, Naperville, was arrested at 10:10 p.m. July 11 in the area of Normantown and Weber on charges of possession of a controlled substance, aggravated DUI, driving on a suspended license, no insurance, failure to reduce speed to avoid an accident and aggravated resisting an officer.

Elisa Thornton, 29, of the 200 block of Highpoint Drive was arrested at 9:02 p.m. July 13 in the area of Normantown and Weber on an in-state warrant as well as driving on a suspended license, no seat belt and failure to secure a child under the age of 8.

Sergio Amaya, 35, of the 2200 block of Clarence Avenue, Berwyn, was arrested at 11:53 p.m. July 13 in the 1300 block of Joliet Road on a charge of domestic battery.

Carlos Hernandez-Aguirre, 29, of the 400 block of Jessie Street in Joliet was arrested at 2:02 p.m. in the area of Weber and South Carillon on charges of driving on a suspended license, speeding and illegal transportation of alcohol.

Manuel Mayo, 36, of the 100 block of Boulder Avenue, Joliet, was arrested at 5:08 p.m. July 15 in the area of 135th Street and Old Romeo Road on charges of aggravated driving on a suspended license, obstructing justice, leaving the scene of an accident, failure to give information, failure to reduce speed to avoid an accident, no insurance and two in-state warrants.
