Opportunity Matters Unity Picnic Planned At Discovery Park

ROMEOVILLE, IL — With the start of a new school year quickly approaching, it's time to celebrate heading back to school with the Opportunity Matters Unity picnic on Aug. 8.

The back to school picnic will be held from 4:30 to 7:30 p.m. on Aug. 8 at Discovery Park, 300 S. Highpoint Drive, according to the Village.

There will be basketball, football, volleyball, a face painter, DJ, bags, food and a back to school giveaway.

There are still a few weeks left of summer fun, but the first day of school is Aug. 15 for Valley View School District students in grades K-12.
