Rack Room Shoes Coming to Romeoville
The footwear chain will be located in the shopping center at the northeast corner of Weber Road and Airport Road.
Romeoville will soon have a new place to lace up as Rack Room Shoes will be coming to Weber Road.
The footwear chain will fill the space between Sally Beauty and Petco, making for a fully leased shopping center at the northeast corner of Weber Road and Airport Road. Rack Room offers a variety of brands in casual, athletic, dress, and comfort shoes for men, women, and children. The 10,000 square foot space is anticipated to be open in January 2026. The Romeoville store will be their 4th Illinois location.
“We are very excited to be able to offer a dedicated shoe store to our residents and visitors,” said Mayor Noak. “We look forward to Rack Room being a valuable member of our business community.”

Rack Room joins a host of other businesses who have recently announced plans to open in Romeoville. These include Scooter’s Coffee (early 2026), Wetzel’s Pretzels (end of October), Wing Snob (this fall), and Hatch Chicken (September). The Village anticipates they will soon be able to announce even more businesses coming to town.
