Romeo Crossing Park's Dog Park, Sled Hill Opening This Summer
The contract for phase 3, which was awarded at a recent Village Board meeting, will now begin.
ROMEOVILLE, IL — Construction at Romeo Crossing Park for phase 3 of the project should begin this summer, according to the Village Facebook.
Romeo Crossing Park is at 135th Street and Homer, and is a total of 60 acres. The project has been under development for several years, with bids on the first two phases of the project awarded last year.
The first two phases included a dog park and sled held; both of which are set to open this summer, according to the Village.

The contract for phase 3, which was awarded at a recent Village Board meeting, will now begin. Phase 3 includes the installation of a fully accessible adaptive sports field, playground, fitness space, two shelters, restrooms and a parking lot.
