Romeoville Board Discusses Concept Plan For Credit Union

The property is located at the vacant southwest corner of Weber and Airport roads in the Romeo Crossing shopping center.

ROMEOVILLE, IL — At its Wednesday workshop meeting, the Romeoville Village Board discussed a concept plan for an Earthmover Credit Union location.

Community Development Director Josh Potter said the property is located at the vacant southwest corner of Weber and Airport roads in the Romeo Crossing shopping center.

"Earthmover has seven other locations in the west suburbs, centered around the Fox Valley area, including in Aurora and Oswego," Potter said.

The plans call for a 3,160-square-foot building that includes interior teller windows and office space, Potter said. There are also three drive-thru lanes west of the building, including a bypass lane.

Mayor John Noak said there are a lot of restrictions at that site, so the Village is excited for Earthmover to join the community.

"It's a great visibility corner," he added.

The concept plan will be up for approval at a future Village Board meeting.
