Romeoville Board OKs Proposal For Taylor Road Water Tower Painting
The project should be done by this fall.

ROMEOVILLE, IL — At its meeting on Wednesday, the Romeoville Village Board approved a resolution to accept the lowest proposal and enter into a contract for the Taylor Road water tower painting project.
Public Works Director Chris Drey said the project for the painting of the 1-million gallon tower had eight bidders, with Jetco, Ltd. as the low bidder.
According to Board documents, the proposal cost is $408,889.

"The schedule for this roughly is fall of 2025," Drey said.
In October, the Village had approved a task order for bidder services for the project. The rehabilitation on the 1 million-gallon tank includes pressure washing the exterior, and repainting and repairing damaged areas on the inside and outside of the tank, according to Board documents.
