Romeoville High School Cheer Team Advances To State Finals

ROMEOVILLE, IL — The Romeoville High School Varsity Cheer team will compete at the IHSA state final competition after their performance at the sectional competition in Peoria.

According to the IHSA website, Romeoville placed fifth at the sectional competition for co-ed teams. Glenbard East finished first, Bartlett finished second, Bolingbrook finished third and Metea Valley finished fourth at the sectional competition.

The top five teams advanced to the state finals.

The state finals will be held Feb. 4-5 at Grossinger Motors Arena in Bloomington.
