ROMEOVILLE, IL — The Romeoville High School boys soccer team has advanced into the Class 3A state final championship game after defeating Elmhurst's York High School in the semifinals.
Romeoville won 4-3 against York in double overtime, according to the IHSA website.
Romeoville's Ryan Budz scored the first goal, followed by Joseph Duarte and Jose Herrera, all in the first half.

York answered with three goals of their own in the second half, sending the game to overtime.
No one scored in the first overtime, but Imanol Casillas put away the winning goal in the 94th minute of play to bring Romeoville the win, according to the IHSA website.

Romeoville will play in the championship game against Naperville Central at 8 p.m. at Hoffman Estates High School.
