Romeoville Mom Celebrates a Football & Band Reunion with Her Two Sons

Big brother Rich Jett gets the last laugh on little brother Keith after Minnesota scores an upset football victory over Nebraska.

For the mother of two former Romeoville High School students, the battle of the bands was bigger than the battle on the football field when Nebraska traveled to face Minnesota in a Big Ten game in Minneapolis Saturday.

Well, almost.

"Rich now has bragging rights until next year," said Robin Jett after her son Rich celebrated with the Minnesota marching band the Gophers' 34-23 upset victory over the Cornhuskers.

Rich Jett is a sophomore at Minnesota. He plays the trombone in the Gophers' marching band. His brother, Keith, is a freshman at Nebraska. He plays the trumpet in the Cornhuskers' marching band. Both attended Romeoville High School.
