Romeoville To Participate In World's Largest Swimming Lesson

The World's Largest Swimming lesson is a global drowning prevention and water safety event.

ROMEOVILLE, IL — For the first time at the Romeoville Aquatic Center, Romeoville will participate in the World's Largest Swimming Lesson.

The World's Largest Swimming lesson is a global drowning prevention and water safety event, which was started in 2009. Facilities across the world teach the same, free, 30-minute lesson to all participants, according to the Village.

Pre-registration is required.

The swimming lesson will be held on June 20, from noon to 2 p.m. at the aquatic center, 630 Townhall Drive.
