Romeoville PD Seeks Help Locating Theft Suspects

Police are asking for help solving a possible ID theft case at Walmart and a Walgreens retail theft.

ROMEOVILLE, IL —Romeoville police took to Twitter this week to seek help from the public identifying individuals involved separate incidents in the village. In the first case, police said two men are suspects in an identity theft/credit card fraud case that happened at around 3 p.m. June 19 at Walmart, 420 S. Weber Road.

In that case, the suspects attempted to use a credit card that had been stolen earlier in the day. Anyone with info on the two men is asked to contact Romeoville police at 815-886-7219 in reference to case No. 19-2096.

In another incident that occurred at around 10:30 a.m. July 28 at Walgreens, 498 N. Weber Road, police say two women took more than $150 in laundry detergent and diapers from the store. Anyone who recognizes the suspects is asked to call Romeoville police at 815-886-7219 in reference to case No. 19-2568.
