Romeoville Renews Parking Agreement with Joliet Junior College
The Village renewed their agreement with JJC - Romeoville Campus to allow residents to park in JJC lots 1-4 during large scale events.
As the Village enters the busy season for events, thousands of visitors will be coming to Village Hall grounds to celebrate. Rockin’ the Ville concerts, RomeoFest, Hispanic Heritage Night, Halloween Fest, and the Holiday Lights Festival are all major draws and require a lot of parking. The Village recently completed a 173 space expansion to their lots, but that won’t be enough for everyone. At the last Village Board Meeting, the Village renewed their agreement with Joliet Junior College - Romeoville Campus to allow residents to park in JJC lots 1 through 4 during these large scale events.
“Joliet Junior College has been a tremendous partner for years and are graciously allowing us use of their property so that we can accommodate everyone who wants to celebrate at our events.”
The Romeoville Recreation Center is also available for parking (except during RomeoFest) and street parking along 135th Street is available as well.
