Ross Dress For Less To Open 1st Romeoville Store

ROMEOVILLE, IL — Ross Dress For Less is coming to Romeoville, officials announced.

The nationwide discount department store is planning to open its first location in the village at 371 S. Weber Road, an 18,000-square-foot space formerly occupied by Office Max.

Ross will be located in a strip that also includes Maurices, Petco, Discovery and competitor T.J.Maxx. A Starbucks and Jimmy John's are among the food options just across the parking lot at the corner of South Weber Road and West Airport Road.

Village officials said work on the new Ross will begin this summer and is anticipated to be completed in fall 2024.

"As the land around Weber Road continues to develop, it’s great to see existing spaces being filled as well," Mayor John Noak said in a statement. "Ross will be a fantastic addition to our shopping options."
