Submissions Being Accepted For Romeoville Veterans Tribute Video

Village officials will again produce a Memorial Day video honoring local veterans who sacrificed their lives while in military service.

ROMEOVILLE, IL — The Village of Romeoville will commemorate Memorial Day next month by remembering area veterans who sacrificed their lives while in military service.

Village officials have announced plans to produce a tribute video that pays homage to fallen veterans who called Romeoville home. The village has started accepting submissions for the video and are asking residents to provide the name of a local veteran, their branch of military service, the years they served along with a photo.

The veteran must have been a Romeoville resident and must be deceased, village officials said.
