Third Annual Bling Bling Sale Planned At Romeoville Library
New this year is a preview sale, with a $5 admission, which will be from 4 to 6 p.m. on Sept. 20.

ROMEOVILLE, IL — The White Oak Library Foundation will hold its third annual Bling Bling Sale and Fundraiser on Sept. 20-22 at the Romeoville Branch Library, 201 W. Normantown Road.
New this year is a preview sale, with a $5 admission, which will be from 4 to 6 p.m. on Sept. 20, according to the library. Shoppers can expect to get the best picks on Friday along with a free chance to take home a bottle of wine or spirits.
The sale continues on Sept. 21 and Sept. 22 and admission is free. Saturday hours are 10 a.m. to 3 p.m.; Sunday hours are noon to 2 p.m. Although the library is closed on Sunday, the building will be open to Bling Bling shoppers only.

Shoppers will be able to choose from over 5,000 pieces of gently used costume and vintage jewelry
along with scores of evening bags, according to the library. Most earrings and bracelets, necklaces, rings, brooches, watches, and assorted bling are priced at $1 or $2. While the great majority of the jewelry is pre-owned, there are new pieces in original packaging. There is also gold, sterling silver, and gemstone jewelry being sold at below retail price.
For jewelry makers, there are hundreds of jewelry bits and pieces that can be deconstructed and reused and will be sold in bulk for as little as $3 per container. In addition, there will be some pre-owned designer handbags, according to a release.

Proceeds will be used by the Foundation to benefit the Library. Cash, credit, debit and ApplePay will be accepted.
