Two New Businesses Coming to Romeoville
Scooter's Coffee and Wetzel's Pretzels will be serving Romeoville customers in the not-too-distant future.

Two new businesses have signed leases that will have them serving Romeoville customers in the not-too-distant future: Scooter’s Coffee and Wetzel’s Pretzels.
Scooter’s Coffee will occupy the final space in the recently constructed shopping center that already contains Happy Bites and Romeoville Urgent Care just south of the Route 53 and Greenwood Avenue intersection. The 1,641 square foot space also has a drive-thru window. Scooter’s offers both hot and iced drinks as well as teas, sparkling floats and sodas, smoothies and handheld food items like muffins, sandwiches, and desserts. They should be open for business in early 2026.
Wetzel’s Pretzels will be opening inside the Romeoville Walmart by the end of October. The 940 square foot space will be serving up full sized hot pretzels, flavored pretzel bitz, and pretzel wrapped hot dogs. It can all be washed down with a variety of lemonades.
