ROMEOVILLE, IL — The Romeoville Police Department made a series of arrests involving local residents in recent weeks involving a variety of criminal charges.

Residents are reminded that criminal charges do not equate to a guilty finding and that all defendants are presumed innocent until proven guilty.

Ramiro Alfaro, 19, Bolingbrook, was arrested at 10:30 p.m. on Feb. 14 in the area of Weber and Taylor and charged with two counts of improper lane usage, aggravated speeding, three counts of disobeying traffic control device, failure to wear a seatbelt, aggravated fleeing/eluding, failure to reduce speed/accident, improper passing on shoulder, driving without a valid driver’s license and conspiracy to steal a vehicle. He was taken to the Will County Jail.

Sandra Murillo, 43, Chicago, was arrested at 10:04 a.m. on Feb. 23 on an in-state warrant. Bond was set at $50,000 with 10 percent to apply.

Duvan Guerrero-Rueda, 26, Joliet, was arrested at 1:14 a.m. on Feb. 24 in the area of Route 53 and Chambers and charged with aggravated speeding and driving without a valid driver’s license. He was released on $2,500 personal recognizance.

Antonio Finley, 32, Oak Park, was arrested at 6:55 p.m. on Feb. 27 in the 1200 block of Lakeview Drive on an in-state warrant and charged with obstructing justice and possession of over 30 grams of marijuana. He was taken to the Will County Jail.

Osvaldo Rivera, 30, Romeoville, was arrested at 10:29 p.m. on Feb. 24 in the area of Joliet Road and Route 53 and charged with failure to report an accident to police, failure to give information after striking unattended property, illegal transportation of alcohol, driving with no insurance, driving while his license is revoked, failure to reduce speed /accident. He was released on $2,500 personal recognizance.

Sebastian Hernandez, 26, Plainfield, was arrested at 9:15 p.m. on Feb. 26 in the area of Weber Road and Taylor and charged with driving while his license his revoked and driving with an expired registration. He was released on $2,500 personal recognizance.
