Wet Bandit Strikes The Day After Christmas: Romeoville Police

ROMEOVILLE, IL — Romeoville police are investigating a residential burglary that happened the day after Christmas. Residents reported someone entered a home in the 500 block of Wynbrooke and turned on faucets in the home in a crime that's reminiscent of the "Wet bandits" from the Christmas classic "Home Alone."

A computer, keys and medication were also stolen from the home.

Whoever committed the burglary also damaged a TV and a vehicle at the home, police said.
