The <a href="https://www.reconnectwithnature.org/" target="_blank" rel="nofollow">Forest Preserve District of Will County</a>’s 2026 Be a Trailblazer experience is underway! Join today to explore local preserves through nature-themed challenges all year long. You can sign up at any time by creating a free account on the Goosechase app and completing self-guided missions at their own pace during four seasonal sessions: winter (Jan. 1–March 14), spring (March 25–May 30), summer (June 10–Sept. 12) and fall (Sept. 24–Dec. 12). Participants earn chances to win prizes and collectible pins, with more than $15,000 in prizes donated by 30-plus local businesses and sponsorship support from <a href="https://www.willcountynature.org/" target="_blank" rel="nofollow">The Nature Foundation of Will County</a>. The free program is open to all ages and encourages people to get outside, explore new preserves and experience nature in every season.

Step into one of Joliet’s most sacred historic spaces, where the architecture was born to carry sound. The Old Central Church, with its 130-year-old walls, stained-glass windows, and soaring ceilings, holds a resonance that gently wraps around you like an embrace. Every note lingers, every vibration expands, and the space itself becomes a healing partner.
During this one-hour sound bath, you will lie comfortably or sit in a pew&nbsp;as Tibetan and crystal singing bowls, gongs, bells, and drums create healing tones that gently travel through the body. These frequencies wash over you like waves, guiding the nervous system into deep rest, quieting the mind, and softening the places you carry stress and emotion.
