Cheesecakes By James Makes It Official, Shorewood

SHOREWOOD, IL — James Sankey, owner of the Cheesecakes By James dessert business is on the move again, but this time it's an expansion.

One year after moving from downtown Joliet to Crest Hill's Division Street shopping center, Sankey announced on Tuesday he will be opening a second location for Cheesecakes By James.

This new one will be near the Chicken-N-Spice and Pizza For U restaurants in Shorewood, along Route 59 near Jefferson Street.

Sankey created a flier indicating his grand opening for the Shorewood Cheesecakes By James at 150 Brookforest Ave. will be Friday, July 28. He is now taking preorders.

On opening day, he will be open from 10 a.m. to 9 p.m.

His normal hours of operation in Shorewood will be 10 a.m. to 9 p.m. Monday through Saturday and noon to 5 p.m. Sunday.
