Holy Spit! Prisoner Allegedly Spat in Other Inmate's Face at Courthouse, Catches New Felony Case
Both men had court Monday — the day of the alleged expectoration.

An ex-convict back in the county jail on new domestic battery charges caught another felony case for allegedly spitting in a fellow inmate’s face while they were in court Monday.
Eric Heard, 24, of Joliet was charged with aggravated battery for his alleged saliva salvo at 22-year-old Jeffery Carr.
Heard was in court Monday on domestic battery charges, according to court records. Carr, a Braidwood resident, appeared for a burglary case. He allegedly broke into a Buick four months ago.

The two men’s cases were in different courtrooms. The sheriff’s department did not respond to requests for additional information on the incident.
Carr has been locked up since July. Heard was booked into the Will County jail in April.

Heard was released from prison in November 2013 after serving time for possessing a handgun and domestic battery. He was still on parole at the time of his April arrest.
