Joliet Man Charged with Robbery, Pellet Gun Pistol-Whipping
The Joliet man also faces a burglary charge in connection with a Channahon break-in.

A Joliet man was charged with a pellet gun beating and robbery.
Nicholas Swanson, 23, was already locked up in the Will County jail on residential burglary and theft charges when he was hit with single counts of robbery and aggravated battery.
Two days before he was taken into custody last month in connection with the burglary in Channahon, Swanson allegedly pistol-whipped a man with a pellet gun and stole his wallet.

The criminal complaint against Swanson said the robbery and beating occurred on Aug. 14. The only robbery reported during Joliet around that time was about 11:30 p.m. on West Jefferson Street near Airport Road.
The burglary charge stemmed from an Aug. 16 break-in on South Serrano Court. Swanson and another Joliet man, 24-year-old Quinton Perry, allegedly stole two laptops, a wedding ring and a briefcase out of the house.
