Joliet Man Jailed on Gun and Child Porn Charges

A Joliet man was arrested on gun and child pornography charges Tuesday morning.

Carl Turley, 66, was booked into the Will County jail on three counts of possessing child pornography and a single count of possessing a firearm after his firearm owner’s identification card had expired.

Turley was arrested following an investigation by the state’s attorney’s High Technology Crimes Unit.

No additional information on the case against Turley was available Tuesday. He was scheduled to appear in bond court Wednesday afternoon.
