Joliet Man Shot in Head, Dies in Hospital
The Joliet man died in the hospital less than four hours after he was shot.

A Joliet man was shot in the head Sunday night and died less than four hours later.
Duntell Lecure Neal, 24, was sitting in the passenger seat of a car parked on Union Street near Grant Avenue when he was shot in the head about 11:30 p.m. Neal lived on the same block, according to jail records.
Neal was taken to presence St. Joseph Medical Center where he was pronounced dead about 3 a.m. Monday.

Detectives worked on the case through the night into the morning.
“We’re still interviewing some people and looking for some others,” said Police Chief Brian Benton.
