Driver Killed After Car Crashes Into Tree In Lincolnwood: Report
The accident near the Edens Expressway happened at around 4 a.m. Monday morning and shut down portions of Touhy Avenue for several hours.

LINCOLNWOOD, IL — A driver was killed Monday morning after their car crashed into a tree, shutting down parts of Touhy Avenue while crews clean up the accident, reports WBBM-TV. The accident happened at around 4 a.m. just east of the Edens Expressway.
The car went off the road and crashed into the tree at Touhy Avenue and Lowell Avenue, according to WBBM-TV.
Touhy Avenue was closed from Kostner to Tripp avenues for several hours. At around 9 a.m., police said the street was fully reopened.
