Floral Avenue Project in Skokie 'On A Roll'

Two homes in downtown Skokie project have closed.

John McLinden, owner of Streetscape Development, said the project to develop Floral Avenue in downtown Skokie with 20 traditionally styled homes is “on a roll,” according to Crain’s Chicago.

Buyers recently closed on two houses. 12 were under contract at the end of May and two more are expected by the end of summer, McLinden said.

The recently sold homes include a four-bedroom, 2,450-square-foot structure for $609,000 and a three-bedroom that went for $507,000 in February.
