FLX Move Pilates Named Skokie Business of the Year 2025 Award recognizes outstanding community impact, innova

Skokie, IL — December 1, 2025 — FLX Move Pilates, a rapidly expanding Pilates and movement studio brand, was officially named Skokie Business of the Year 2025, earning top recognition through both strong community support and a formal review by the Village of Skokie’s Business of the Year Committee.

The annual award recognizes local businesses that demonstrate exceptional service, measurable community impact, and meaningful engagement with residents. Each year, Skokie community members nominate their favorite establishments across a wide range of categories. This year, FLX Move received an outstanding number of community nominations, advancing to the finalist stage for committee evaluation.

More than 100 businesses were nominated. FLX Move Pilates emerged as one of the top vote-getters and secured a place among the four finalists reviewed by the committee. The panel assessed each finalist based on community contribution, service innovation, business growth and sustainability, resident engagement, and overall customer experience. After completing its assessment, the committee unanimously selected FLX Move as the 2025 award recipient.

A Young Brand Making a Big Local Impact

Founded less than two years ago, FLX Move Pilates quickly grew to three Chicago-area locations and built a strong reputation for its modern, accessible approach to Pilates, mobility, and longevity-focused movement. The studio offers classes for all ages and fitness levels, including specialized programming for older adults, athletes, beginners, and those seeking effective, low-impact strength training.

Community Celebration Held December 1st

The Village of Skokie formally recognized FLX Move Pilates during the Skokie Business of the Year Awards Ceremony at Village Hall on December 1. Members, clients, and local supporters attended the celebration.

As a gesture of gratitude and in support of the community in a time of need, FLX Move launched a donation initiative benefiting the Niles Township Food Pantry Foundation. Participants who contributed $10 received a $45-value guest pass, and those who donated $50 received two guest passes plus an infrared sauna session. This effort helped raise critical support for local families while giving community members a meaningful way to participate in the celebration.
