The Heart and Soul of The Beatles at Skokie Theatre Nov 29

The Beatles tribute will present jazz, blues, gospel, and R&B interpretations of classic Beatles hits by some of Chicago's best.

The Beatles, self-admittedly, acknowledge their influence by musical artists Chuck Berry, Little Richard, The Shirelles, The Marvelettes, Fats Domino, and more. THE HEART AND SOUL OF THE BEATLES will present jazz, blues, gospel, and R&B interpretations of classic Beatles hits by some of Chicago’s best. The concert will take place on Saturday, November 29 at 7:30pm at the Skokie Theatre, 7924 Lincoln Avenue, Downtown Skokie. Tickets are $35 and available online at SkokieTheatre.org or call 847.677.7761.

Part of the Daryl Nitz Entertainment Series, this one night only event will be hosted by Daryl Nitz, with musical direction by Andrew Blendermann, featuring special guest and Chicago icon Frieda Lee and performers Lynne Jordan, Liz Mandeville, LaShera Moore, Margaret Murphy, Devon Sandridge and Soul Latina (Diana Mosquera -vocals, Narda Martinez - vocals, Sonia Oyola- vocals, Rachel Alicea - guitar, and Jess Anzaldúa- percussion).
