Memorial for Slain Skokie Teen to be Held Sunday in Evanston
Max Gadau was shot and killed Sept. 28 in a car in Skokie. His parents both grew up in Evanston.

A memorial service for Skokie 17-year-old Maxwell Gadau will be held Sunday at Evanston’s First Presbyterian Church.
He was shot and killed last Sunday while sitting in a car in the 9200 block of Kedvale Ave. in Skokie. The 17-year-old girl he was with is in hospitalized in critical condition. No arrests have been made, though police say the shooting was not random.
Max is survived by his parents Patricia and Peter, who are Evanston natives, and his sisters, Melissa and Britney, according to a family friend who wanted to spread the word of the memorial service.

The service will be held at 3 p.m. at the church at 1427 Chicago Ave.
