Police Activity Reported Near Madison Street In Skokie

SKOKIE, IL — Residents of Skokie are asked to avoid the area of Madison Street and Kenton Avenue due to reported police activity, according to a Nixle alert sent at 7:18 p.m. Monday. The alert did not provide any additional details about why police were dispatched to the area.

Responders from Golf, Morton Grove, Lincolnwood, Niles, Skokie, Winnetka and Kenilworth also were on the scene.

Skokie police could not immediately be reached for comment Monday evening.
