School Bus Crashes Into Skokie House After Hitting Cars, 2 Other Homes
There were no children on the bus at the time.

SKOKIE, IL — The driver of a school bus lost control and collided with multiple cars and two houses before crashing through the wall of a third house in Skokie on Thursday, fire officials said.
No one was injured in the home, and no students were aboard the bus at the time of the crash, which took place around 4 p.m. in the 8600 block of Crawford Avenue, according to Skokie police..
Video from the scene recorded before the bus was towed away shows the front of an Alltown Bus Co. vehicle lodged inside the brick wall, as well as multiple damaged cars in the area.

Witnesses said the driver appeared to have escaped the crash without serious injuries.
"All I saw was the bus cut over this median and drive straight into this house, straight into it," witness Nikki Kelsay told WGN. "And I slammed on my brakes."

Skokie police issued a statement explaining that the bus initially collided with an SUV before striking two unoccupied parked cars. One of the drivers was treated for minor injuries and one was cited for improper lane usage, but police did not say which one.
