Skokie, IL — Are you an experienced screen printing, heat press, or embroidery professional looking for flexible, fulfilling work? The Douglas Center is now hiring a Part-Time Contract Production & Training Specialist to support our newly launched production departments—serving both local business clients and the adults with intellectual, developmental, and physical disabilities we proudly serve.

This hands-on role offers a unique opportunity to apply your technical knowledge in a training environment that’s creative, collaborative, and driven by mission. You’ll work alongside The Douglas Center staff and participants—guiding production jobs, supporting skill development, and helping us fulfill orders for real-world clients with accuracy and care.

  • Teach and oversee screen printing, heat press, and embroidery projects
  • Prepare materials, operate equipment, and maintain production standards
  • Train staff and participants on safe and efficient production techniques
  • Promote a supportive, well-organized, and inclusive work environment

Who We’re Looking For:

✔ Experienced in screen printing, heat press, and/or embroidery (required)

This part-time contract role (1–2 days per week) offers flexibility and purpose. It’s ideal for working professionals, freelancers, or semi-retired tradespeople looking to contribute their skills in a meaningful way.
