Staffer Stabbed After Basketball Game Between Niles North, Evanston Township High Schools
Someone stabbed a District 219 security guard Tuesday during a "large disturbance" that followed Niles North's overtime defeat, police said.

SKOKIE, IL — A security guard was stabbed during a fight that broke out after a high school basketball game between Tuesday in Skokie, authorities said.
Skokie police were called to Niles North High School shortly before 9:30 p.m. for a report of a "large disturbance involving multiple individuals."
A staffer for Niles Township High School District 219 who had been stabbed in the upper body was taken to an area hospital with lacerations that were not considered to be life-threatening, according to police.

Police said they did not know who stabbed him. No one has been arrested, and no students were injured, officials said.
Niles North had been playing Evanston Township High School, which had just secured an 68-64 overtime victory.
