The Lincolnwood Chamber Orchestra performs Sunday, January 18, 3PM at the South Shore Cultural Center, 7059 S South Shore Dr., Chicago. The concert, remembering Dr. Martin Luther King Jr., will include music of African American composers and new spiritual and gospel adaptations for orchestra. Featuring vocalist Van Gilmer, spoken word artist Akira Slaughter, and speakers David Dixon and Johnny Haskins. Free admission, reservations required.
