Murphy to Host Shred Event & Constituent Services Fair on Aug. 28
Rep. Mike Murphy to host a free one-stop-shop Shred Event & Constituent Services Fair on August 28 in Springfield.
SPRINGFIELD – Following the success of his recent Shred Event & Constituent Services Fair in Chatham, State Representative Mike Murphy (R-Springfield) is hosting a second free one-stop-shop event in Springfield on August 28. The free event to be held at South Side Christian Church will allow for residents to shred paper documents, as well as interact with various state and local government agencies and community organizations.
“After the great results of the first event, I’m looking forward to another great turnout at our second event in Springfield,” said Murphy. “Whether you need to shred documents or speak with the Treasurer’s office, this event is another convenient opportunity to take care of your government services needs at one time.”
Shredding only, no electronics recycling. Please follow the flow of traffic and stay in your vehicle during shred drop-off. The Constituent Services Fair will take place outside. In the event of inclement weather, the fair will be moved inside to the Community Room. The event is open to all residents of the 99th House District.
