• Police surround home for hours in Streamwood, attempting to arrest suspect, officials say (abc7chicago.com) — A large police operation in a Streamwood subdivision Wednesday evening brought dozens of officers, tactical gear, drones, and road closures as authorities tried for hours to arrest a suspect in a home near Yellowstone and Kings Canyon drives. Neighbors were told to stay indoors and avoid the Lake Street and Elizabeth entrance while police used loudspeakers to communicate, though officials have not yet said why the person is being sought.
