1 Found Dead In Car, Tinley Police Investigating Apparent Suicide: PD

TINLEY PARK, IL — Tinley Park police are on the scene of an apparent suicide at 171st and Oak Park Avenue Saturday morning.

Police were called to the scene around 9 a.m. Saturday. Witnesses observed a pick-up truck with a sheet draped over the cab. A person was found with an apparent self-inflicted gunshot wound, Village Manager Pat Carr said. The person was pronounced dead at the scene.

The person’s identity was not yet disclosed as of 10:45 a.m.
