13-Year-Old Beaten, Robbed By Group In Tinley Park: Police

TINLEY PARK, IL — A 13-year-old was beaten and robbed by three men Friday night, Tinley Park police told Patch.

According to police, the teenager was walking in the 17500 block of Oak Park Avenue at around 10 p.m. Friday when three men approached the 13-year-old, forcibly took their cell phone and fled the area.

The teenager did not see how the group got away, police said.

As of Tuesday afternoon, police did not have any updates on the case but said they are continuing to investigate.
