2 Men Evade Police In Search By K-9, Drone: Tinley PD

Police searched for two men seen peering into cars late Thursday night, calling in drones and a K-9 unit.

TINLEY PARK, IL — Tinley Park police late Thursday night were pursuing two masked men seen peering into vehicles, police said.

Residents around 11 p.m. reported seeing two men in ski masks looking into vehicles near 167th and Lakewood. The suspects fled from police, leading to an hour-long search. Tinley police, with the assistance of the Will County K-9 and a police drone determined the suspects were no longer in the area.

It was not clear which direction they fled, said Tinley Park Police Deputy Chief Lawrence Rafferty.
