Eric R. Felters, 22, of the 19000 block of Chestnut Avenue, Country Club Hills, was charged with battery, according to a report. He is accused of punching another man at about 5:30 p.m. inside LA Fitness, 18400 Convention Center Dr.

Pot Possession Charge
Osvaldo L. Maldonado, 34, of the 400 block of Conservatory Lane, Aurora, was charged with possession of marijuana and possession of drug equipment, accoding to a report. He is accused of possessing 2 grams of marijuana. Police noticed a car parked in the Buffalo Wild Wings lot at about 8:27 p.m. Four people were sitting inside. An officer smelled a strong odor of marijauan coming from the car. Maldonado allegedly gave police the marijuana and a blue glass pipe.
Manteno Man Faces Marijuana Charge
Matthew A. Quick, 18, of the 11700 block of North 7000 Road, Manteno, was charged with possession of marijuana and possession of drug equipment, according to a report. Police said Quick handed over backpack to police that contined a glass jar with a green leafy substance and a digital scale. The substance, which weighed 5 grams, tested positive for marijuana.
