Aldi Opens At Old EuroFresh Market Storefront In Tinley Park

The grand opening Friday will feature a ribbon-cutting ceremony and a variety of giveaways.

TINLEY PARK, IL — Aldi is holding a grand opening Friday for its move to a new Tinley Park location along Harlem Avenue. The discount grocery store will now be at the former EuroFresh Market location at Park Center Plaza, 16000 Harlem Ave. Aldi's old site at 16150 Harlem Ave., was only about a block south of its new home.

A ribbon cutting for the new store will be at 8:25 a.m. Friday, Nov. 17. The grand opening also will have a variety contests and drawings. The first 100 customers at the new location will receive a chance to win a golden ticket that's worth a $100 to be used at the store on that day.

The store hours are from 9 a.m. to 9 p.m. Monday through Saturday, and from 9 a.m. to 8 p.m. Sunday. Along with being a significantly larger storefront, the remodeld location will feature a new design, improved lighting and added attention to its produce, dairy and bakery sections, according to the Daily Southtowns's Comings & Goings column.
