The Flipside Bazaar returns Sunday, Feb. 23, with a selection of 13 artists and vendors.

TINLEY PARK, IL — Shoppers are invited to indulge in some retail therapy to fend off the winter blues at an artisan market set to return to a Tinley Park brewery.

Beers, Burgers, and a Bazaar returns to Flipside Brewing, 7144 183rd St., on Sunday, Feb. 23 from 11 a.m. to 5 p.m. Curated by the Streetz Artz Alliance, the "cozy yet vibrant" event highlights local artists, vendors, and creators.

"We have Alliance favorites returning to the brewery, including Adara Selene Creations, DK Custom Woodwork Co., Gigawatt Coffee, Libby McArthur Art, Masterclass Savory Sweet Foods, and Ten Cups Tarot," said John E. Streetz, head of the Streetz Artz Alliance and curator of the event.

"We are passionate about supporting developmentally disabled individuals, those struggling with mental illness and PTSD, people battling addiction, and at-risk youth," said Katchmar, who donates to both Heart Haven Outreach and Restoration Ministries.

Other artists at the event support causes such as the Ekukhanyeni Relief Project, St. Jude Children’s Research Hospital, various gun legislation organizations, and Pride organizations.

The market offers a diverse selection of items, including home décor, local art, jewelry, self-care products, and one-of-a-kind handcrafted goods. Flipside Brewing will have a variety of drinks on tap, including their signature Mr. Mulligan’s Irish Red and Shebeen Nitro Irish Stout, perfect for the upcoming St. Patrick’s Day season. Mr. Mulligan’s is also available in cans to-go, said owner Erik Pizer. In addition, the brewery features 10-12 beers on tap, mixed drinks, and non-alcoholic options.

For food lovers, Flipside’s featured burger for February is the Olive You Burger—featuring two smash patties, white cheddar, olive mayo spread, and lettuce.

Spotlight on New Vendors

A fresh face at this year’s event is Nickolas S. Eckmayer, founder of Artisanal Microgreens. Eckmayer grows microgreens in his indoor garden. His offerings will include speckled pea, broccoki, mixed salad, and radish microgreens.

Also new to the lineup is With Love Products, founded by Tinley Park resident Heidi O’Hanley. O'Hanley creates handmade soaps using goat milk and shea butter.

"I believe sound vibrations can enhance products, so I use vibrational sounds of love to help heal and nourish your skin," O'Hanley said. "Using natural soap base products and essential oils is important for my own health, and I hope they can help you, too."
